What else is there to do on a cool, wet, quiet day than check out a movie on Netflix…

I came across a film from last year (2019) called, Girl on the third floor, a thriller / psychological thriller about a man trying to renovate a very old house for his growing family. However this house is not your average suburban home and it has plans all of its own.

The main character is portrayed by none other than retired pro wrestler CM Punk (I believe this to be his first acting role, but don’t quote me on that one). Other cast members include Sarah Brooks, Trieste Kelly Dunn, Tonya Kay and Elissa Dowling.

The film had great ominous tones from the get go and you always felt on edge waiting for something to happen, which

made for great intrigue. Good style to keep you guessing.

The cinematography of Scott Thiele was brilliant in an independent film kind of way.

After watching the film I was interested in What others said about it, and was quite surprised in the amount of people dissing it.

I guess it’s one of those films you either love or you don’t. I believe it’s worth the watch, make up your own mind..
