From Cesena, Italy comes the latest project from Lu Silver (former lead singer of hard rock group, Small Jackets) The Lu Silver String Band.

The new release, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Is Here To Stay” is a great tribute to old school rock sounds in my opinion.

If you love artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Neil Young, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, you will absolutely get right into this offering in a big way.

The first five tracks, “It’s Difficult”, “Hard Road”, “Miss Sugar”, “We Are Monkeys” and “I Got You” really take you back to the days of the aforementioned bands, without feeling like they just ripped it out of the archives.  It really gave me the sense that classic is back.

Their rock sound with bluesy/folk additions make for easy listening rock music for all occasions.

I also checked out some of their music videos on YouTube for a little something extra, and it’s well worth it to do so… No big budget crazy videos, just some classic studio time clips, which are just joyful to watch..

Not much to fault here at all.  I enjoyed it.
